Our brief

KIMS Medical Admissions Unit (MAU) was set up to assist GP's in getting their patients admitted to KIMS. To promote awareness of the unit among GPs, KIMS wanted to develop a promotional campaign.

What we did

Think:  The main campaign piece was an A5 mailer which also carried a plastic card which could be kept by the GP in their wallet. This was supported by a double page spread in KIMS GP magazine, Clincial Opinions.  In addition, further cost effective promotion was by way of a promotional advert on the reverse of the carrier sheet used in the mailing of Clinical Opinions.

Design:  As a new hospital, it was important that the concepts linked to KIMS brand guidelines whilst at the same time being something visibly different.  Through collaboration with the KIMS marketing team a number of concepts were presented.

Create:  Using the preferred concept we created the finished mailing piece, double page spread and carrier sheet, arranging and managing production of the finished items, liaising with the print supplier to ensure the mailing deadlines were not missed.

Outcomes

Despite the challenge of having 5 working days to complete the project from start to production, the finished campaign has played a significant part in the increased number of admissions to KIMS hospital.
